This JBS.org Freedom Campaign Meetup is for those in the State of North Carolina who would like to be active at the state level in preserving our individual freedoms and prosperity. We work as organized citizens seeking to secure representative government from both our state legislature in Raleigh and our state congressional delegation in Washington, DC. Our state and federal Constitutions are the social contracts we demand adherence to by the officials placed in authority by We the People.

Tired of Triangle meetup groups focusing mainly on Raleigh, Cary, and other locations? This meetup will be Durham-centric. A variety of activities is envisioned, such as gathering for coffee and discussion, attending festivals and cultural events, visiting local museums, galleries and parks, going to plays and music performances, or whatever else comes to mind. Meetings should be quite casual. Members are welcome to send ideas and suggestions for activities. Most activities are FREE or cheap!

Girlfriends Book Club (GBC) is not only a book club but a sorority of some sort. Founded in 2004, Girlfriends Book Club has branched out to form a total of 3 chapters, including the Raleigh chapter. Not only do our members have a passion for reading, but they also have a place in their heart for volunteer activities, fundraisers and Black History awareness.

This is a lesbian book club. We will always meet in Durham, primarily in downtown durham, on a monthly basis. We'll read a variety of books from a variety of authors, depending on the interests of the group.

There are many book clubs. This group reads literary classics...books that have stood the test of time. So we'll never read the hot new thing...we'll read books that are 10-10,000 years old but are still in print. We'll read Homer, Dante, Salinger, Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, John Kennedy Toole, Alice Walker, Shakespeare. Great authors, great books. We'll read fiction, poetry, drama, folk tales, philosophy.
